Phew... hectic day today... rushing from places to places...
While discussing DVPA today... kinda like quarrelled with Sarah and Timothy... really sorry you guys... but... our team really need to come to an agreement...
Jason was giving his "dreaded" apprehensive look again... while Sonia looked sleepy....
Needless to say... The discussion was pretty ok....
but I still feel very sad that our group needed to start an arguement in order to get something done... its all my fault... haiz...
anywayz... after a rather pleasing news writing day, it was time for me to head back to the gym again... This time, though I trained till I became pretty much exhausted, my muscles didnt feel stressed at all...
Good point - My strength and stamina is increasing
Bad point - It would take me even more to get my desired body shape from now on
After a refreshing shower and a neat-o change of clothes.. I headed to the MRT back home......
but..
A message from ZY came.... he needed to talk to me...
Sometimes I feel that I'm so lucky to have such a caring DG leader... even though he has alot of projects and work to do... he still would spend time to sit down with me and talk to me and ask me about my life...
After a big blurt about what was happening in my mishappened life... He listened thoughtfully and came to a conclusion - my priorities were wrong...
All along, I wanted God to bless me, and then I would live a victorious life for Him... but that concept is totally wrong...
What is important is that I had to seek the will of God first...
"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, AND all these things will be added unto you."
It didnt matter who was better acadamically, looked better or was richer... What mattered is that, in our life... we would be able to be good stewards of God's gifts, be it big or small...
because, in eternity... what we do now affects us as well...
=) Why should I be afraid when I did my best? When I reach heaven... I'll be able to hug my Father and tell Him that everything he gave me, I used it to the max.. =D
and He will smile and say "well done!"
oh yah... the O level results came out today... Pretty frightening... the competition is very visible amongst the "Dragon Children"... some of my friends from very good schools ended up with marks that allowed them to enter polytechnic courses only...
In my old school, I heard that many people cried...
Haiz... all I can say is that... if you did your best, it is your best... AND be happy with it!
For God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, and everything will ineveitably work together for His will and purpose in our life... =)

(btw.. I've been reading a book on advance skincare... lolz! i can be a dermatologist liaw)
1) Did you know that the sun causes the MOST damage to the skin, and the majority of sun damage that lasts a lifetime is done within the ages 10-18?
Yupz... So all you kiddos, remember to put on some SPF thingies before you go out...
(SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It is recommended to have at least SPF 15 on constantly throughout the day on parts of the body most exposed to the sun. SPF works such that, on average, SPF 15 is enough to protect you for 15 hours... Of course, there is more calculation then meets the eye. I'll spare ya)
2) Did you know that the color RED in blushers, eyeliners, lipsticks and mascara is highly cosmogenic? (cosmogenic = encourges growth of blackheads[closed comotose], pimples and other acne related conditions)
Yah.. so before heaping up Red Earth (tm-bodyshop) on your face, make sure that you take into consideration that it actually affects your skin.
3) Did you know that some facial masks (enzymic) literally burns away the top dead skin cell and can have a miraculous effect within a few times of treatment? This treatment is also known as peeling.
Yups.. this "miracle treatment" is used from a home-practitioner to a professional dermatologist, and of course, the strength varies with the professionalism as well. ALWAYS consult your friendly dermatologist before applying any enzyme-based masks
4) Did you know that if you practiced some stress relieving excercises everyday for 1 year, you could virtually greatly slow down the aging effect on your skin?
No joke for those older peepz reading me blog... A simple stress release such as quiet time (for Christians), yoga, or even stopping work, closing your eyes and listening to soft music can have do a great good for your tensed up skin.
5) 30% of the dermatologist and salon facial ethenist do not follow a standard safety procedure sometimes, and this may result in even worse skin conditions. Always remember to have a qualified practitioner treating your face. If its a home-practitioner, always tell him/her how you're feeling throughout the treatment.
Yah... I realized this after reading the thick thick pook with lotsa words in it... There are standard procedures and limitations that a face-master can do.

The Path of the Metrosexual
Geek Transformation Process Phase 1 - Complete
It WAS a bit pain...
It WAS a bit uncomfortable...
It IS a bit ugly...
It IS a bit irriating...
I really dislike the braces... but no choice... break the code of the Metrosexuals for a few years in order to get a close-to-perfect set of teeth...
It is my dream... one day...
That I would walk the streets... and people will turn back and give me a second look, and tell their friends that they saw a really good looking guy...
It is my dream... one day...
That I would walk the streets... and people will turn back and give me second look, and wish that they could look as good...
It is my dream... one day...
That I would walk the streets... no longer who I was... but a person with confidence about my looks... living up to the code of the metrosexual...
The choice was mine. and mine alone.
The same choice that I took that moulded my life as an AJ...
Some people wonder why I take care of my looks so much when it is such a fleeting goal...
Wonder why?
It was because I was good looking.
I WAS good looking.
Yes... I am not joking... I may sound proud... but this lie I wont lie...
Everybody said that I had potential to become a very very good looking person when I grow up... maybe I took it too much into my head...
That was 10 years old...
Until the plague of acne came... and my life transformed... and the recoil was just to great...
I fell under a self-induced paranoia...
I became what is known as a metrosexual now...
18 times I was made a page-boy
15 times I was made a protagonist
countless times praised by the people around me...
and it suddenly stopped...
I just could not take it...
specatacles... acne... irregular teeth.... my worst nightmare warped out of my dreams into reality... and embodied me...
Painstakingly... slowly... I tried to change myself...
believing that one day I would revert back to the self which people wished their children could look like...
believeing that one day my nightmare will return to the my dreams where I had complete dominence over it...
I still believe it...
I am a metrosexual.
And it is my choice to look good. For those that do not need to follow my footsteps and already have looks, count yourself lucky...
But remember... for you... looks will flee faster then you think...
If... you do not take the path of the metrosexual...
always one.

A ball of glass will bounce higher than a ball of rubber. A ball of solid steel will bounce higher than one made entirely of glass - that is if you can find a surface for it to bounce on.

Recently something strange has been going about Timothy...
Worries me... yet I feel strangely insecure about it...
He has been handing up work late and sometimes not doing it even...
Then today he resigned from the GEN12II project...
I was kinda taken aback and shocked... Didnt really know what to say though...
I thought if Tim wasnt that involved in schoolwork then it would be God's work... but then... now... maybe I didnt get a clear view of the whole story bah...
There was a bush fire today IN SINGAPORE... yah... its like omg lor... A bush fire in Singapore? thats sounds pretty hilarious if you ask me... but it only show the severity of global warming even on clean and green Singapore...
The haze has been taking a toll on the health of many Sinaporeans.. but the reporters arent reporting anything about it... its severe... in fact... I'm feel a little blocked in my windpipe too sometimes... cant imagine the asmathics....
Was listening to Roger, a SPCCC member as well as the president of the Sports Council in SP... he was talking about getting into the honours roll... he has already been in the honour's roll more then 3 times and has an application letter to apply to any university in the world...
and his CCA points is like 3 digits wan lor...
woAh... He has excellent health. excellent results. and is close with God too.... o_O

I only can dream about it.... hahaz...
